All environmental signage needed updating to the new guidance system at IKEA West Chester. I redesigned and adapted old signage to our new subway-style form of wayfinding.
COLLECTING DATA
Working with our Customer Experience Specialist, I pulled data specific to navigation from customer MFQs (most frequent questions) and customer flows. These insights help dictate copy and locations.
MAPPING IT OUT
In collaboration with our Sales and Customer Experience department, I walked the floor several times to analyze the locations of all the sign boards and pinpoint them along the natural path.
